We arrived at Mendefera around 5:00 PM. After a briefing by Rezene, administrator of Zoba Debub, we headed to a NUEYS center where we were greeted warmly. According to Rezene, during Weyane's 3rd offensive, 110 civilians were killed, 135 injured, 1341 domestic animals died and 5000 others were stolen.
